IT Consultant -available now

We are currently hiring IT Consultants to add to our expanding Managed IT Services team. Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. Setting up, configuring and maintaining workstations
2. Setting up, configuring and maintaining networks
3. Server setup and configuration
4. Onsite, remote and phone-based technical support to end-users

Applicants should also have working knowledge of the following software:

1.  All versions of Windows desktop and server operating systems
2. Small Business Server, MS Exchange, MS SQL, MS ISA Server and other MS products
3. Backup software, remote administration software and other tools for the configuration and maintenance of networks
4. Routers, VPN's, switches, WAN and LAN technologies

Applicants must be presentable and have excellent communications skills as the position involves extensive interaction with clients both in person and via phone/email. The position offers a variety of challenges and opportunities due to our diverse client base. Applicants must be willing to work some evenings and weekends due to the nature of the business. Responsibilities:

1. Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Internet Sites using ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies as directed
2. Creating, modifying and maintaining SQL tables as needed
3. Researching and implementing new techniques and technologies to improve development and Web Sites
4. Maintaining and enhancing .NET applications to correct errors, improve performance, or add new functionality
5. Developing and documenting proper testing procedures

Skills:

1. A completed Computer Science degree, diploma, or equivalent experience (2+ years)
2. Strong technical knowledge of C#, VB.Net, Web Services, MS SQL Server and OO web development
3. -Clear understanding of CSS, HTML, Javascript coding and AJAX
4. SQL Server 2000/2005 capabilities
5. OO Design Skills
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Excellent problem solving skills
